ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE POST OF A SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

Trustfund Pensions Limited a leading Pension Fund Administrator (PFA) in Nigeria needs a technology enthusiast who will work in our Information Technology (IT) Department as a Software Developer.

JOB TITLE:        Software Developer.

LOCATION:       Abuja/Lagos

REQUIREMENTS;

• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Master’s degree and professional qualifications are added advantages.
• Proven experience as a Software Developer with a minimum of 4 years’ experience.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Experience with C#(.net), Php, Laravel, SQL, MySQL, Bootstrap, JavaScript, Vue.js, React, Html and CSS.
• Experience with Flutter (Mobile Apps) is an added advantage.
• Ability to write clean and secure code.
• Ability to learn new languages and technologies.
• Experience leading on software planning and development through a sets of related user stories; capable of understanding development tools and the whole system.
• Excellent communication skills
• Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude.
• Business Analysis and Project Management experience is an added advantage.
• Attention to detail.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, developing, and implementing solutions.
• Creation of bespoke, standards compliant, client-side web apps (SPAs) when appropriate, REST APIs, server-side web apps, Mobile Apps and Desktop Apps computing artefacts using modern agile software development best practice with full adherence to the SDLC.
• Working closely with the solution architect, the business partners, and the business process owners the role holder will create and document secure, maintainable, standards compliant software that meets the needs of the business using industry recognized design patterns and software engineering principles.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software.
• Create technical documentation for reference and reporting.
• Integrate software components and third-party programs.
• Verify and deploy programs and systems.
