Funmi Oluwo

Funmi Oluwo is a product of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile- Ife, with thirty years post call experience in the financial services sector as an in-house counsel. She is an associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria.

She started her working career in the legal department of the Nigerian Industrial Development Bank, now Bank of Industry (BOI) before crossing into the private sector and worked in the Insurance sector for fifteen years before joining the pension industry. She has served as Human Resources Manager/ Head of Administration, Head of Compliance and Company Secretary at various times during her career. Over the years, she has adroitly handled legal and regulatory issues of each organization she has worked with to ensure the company complies with good corporate governance practices.

She holds a diploma in Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute of London and has attended courses on Corporate Governance and Compliance locally and internationally. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and an alumnus of the Lagos Business School. She is married with children.
