Job Summary
The Head, Business Development & Marketing – North will provide strategic leadership for all business development and marketing activities across the Northern region. The role is responsible for driving growth, expanding market share, strengthening brand presence, and ensuring consistent achievement of business targets in line with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional business development and marketing strategies aligned with corporate goals.
- Drive RSA, Micro Pension, and other approved product growth across the Northern region.
- Provide leadership and oversight for regional marketing and relationship management teams.
- Build and sustain strategic relationships with corporate organizations, government institutions, and key stakeholders.
- Monitor regional performance, analyze market trends, and ensure achievement of assigned targets.
- Ensure compliance with PENCOM regulations, internal policies, and governance standards.
- Prepare and submit periodic performance and management reports to Executive Management.
Qualifications & Experience
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or any related discipline.
- A Master’s degree and/or relevant professional certifications (e.g. MBA, CIM) will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years’ cognate experience in business development and marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior management role, preferably within the pension, financial services, or related sector.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering strong business growth and market expansion.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the Nigerian Pension Industry and regulatory environment.
